Join us at the Inn for
Yoga and yogurt

Join us at the Inn for Yoga and Yogurt! Beginning this month we will be offering a one hour yoga class at the Inn, followed by a yummy yogurt parfait or smoothie! Classes are designed for all levels, beginner to advanced and available to all guests and those who live in the area. Darla Buckner, who also assists Amy in the front office, is a Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 hours training and has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. The delicious yogurt parfait is made with locally produced yogurt and homemade granola prepared by our fabulous chef at the Inn. So whether you are a beginner looking for a gentle stretch to start your day, or you are a seasoned practitioner, you will be glad you came (and stayed for the yogurt)! Please call the Inn at 512-268-1617 to reserve your spot--minimum of  2 people and max of 6.  Mats and props provided. Please wear comfy clothes that you can stretch in. Cost is $20.  Private and special classes can also be accommodated.

99 Nights at the Inn

It's likely that many of you have had the pleasure of dining with Ed and Jeanne Yanoscik since they have eaten almost 200 meals here at the Inn. Ed and Jeanne are our current record holders for the most stays at the Inn with 34 visits totaling 99 nights. When they arrive from their home in Houston, Ed begins to pass out the individual breads that Jeanne makes fresh for every staff member. Meanwhile, as Ed hands out the baked treats, Jeanne will enjoy a cookie and tea in the dining room. After a short break in the dining room, they make the trek up three flights of stairs to their favorite room, the Schlemmer. Even at 90 years of age, Jeanne doesn't miss a beat climbing the long assent to our highest room. We look forward to seeing Ed and Jeanne for Thanksgiving when they will be the first guests to have stayed at the Inn over 100 nights. Congratulations to two wonderful & inspiring people!
